Can someone help me find a Labubu live wallpaper?

I was trying to set up a Labubu live wallpaper on my phone, but the ones I found were low quality, broken, or wouldn’t apply correctly. I really want a good animated Labubu wallpaper that actually works, and I need help finding a safe, high-quality option or figuring out how to set it up.

Try this route.

  1. Use Wallpaper Engine if you’re on Android.
It has the best hit rate for live wallpapers that dont break. Search ‘Labubu’ in the Workshop. Pick files with decent ratings and recent updates. Old uploads fail more often.

  2. If you want iPhone, use intoLive.
Save a short Labubu video first, then convert it to a Live Photo. iOS blocks a lot of third party live wallpaper stuff, so this works better than random wallpaper apps.

  3. Check TikTok and CapCut templates.
A lot of Labubu edits start there. Download the clip in HD, then run it through intoLive or a live wallpaper app. Avoid repost pages. They compress the file to hell.

  4. Watch the file specs.
1080 x 1920 works best for most phones.
15 to 30 fps is enough.
Keep it under 10 to 15 seconds.
    MP4 works best on Android.

  5. If wallpapers ‘apply’ but dont move, battery saver is often the issue. Turn off battery optimization for the wallpaper app. Also make sure your launcher supports live wallpapers. Some dont, which is dumb but yep.

If you want, reply with Android or iPhone and I’ll narrow it down more.

I’d add one thing @viajantedoceu didn’t really cover: stop hunting only in wallpaper apps. A lot of the “Labubu live wallpaper” stuff in those apps is just stolen, recompressed junk with ads taped on top.

Better route imo:

  • Find a clean Labubu animation edit from the original creator page if possible
  • Upscale it a bit before converting, using something like a video enhancer
  • Crop it yourself so the face/details arent chopped by the clock/widgets
  • Test it as both lock screen and home screen, because some phones are weird and only one works right

Also, I kinda disagree on using anything “recently updated” as a rule. Sometimes older files work perfectly fine if the app itself still supports the format. Ratings + comments matter more than update date.

If you want actual quality, look in:

  • Pinterest video pins
  • Reddit wallpaper subs
  • Telegram sticker/video packs
  • Fan edit pages on Instagram

And if it still won’t animate, check if your phone manufacturer disabled live wallpapers in their default theme app. Samsung, Xiaomi, etc do random annoying stuff like that. Half the time it’s not the wallpaper, it’s the phone being dumb lol. If you say your phone model, ppl can prob narrow it down fast.

I’d go one layer deeper than @viajantedoceu and say the problem is often the file type, not the wallpaper itself.

A lot of “live wallpapers” are packaged as:

  • MP4 video
  • GIF
  • APK wallpaper pack
  • OEM theme format

Phones don’t treat those equally. GIFs usually look bad and stutter. APK wallpaper packs can break on newer Android versions. Raw MP4 often works best if your phone lets you set video wallpaper directly.

What I’d try:

  1. Get a short vertical MP4 instead of a GIF
  2. Keep it around 1080x2400 or your screen’s native resolution
  3. Limit it to 10 to 15 seconds so battery drain stays reasonable
  4. Re-encode it to H.264 + AAC if it refuses to apply
  5. Turn off battery optimization for the wallpaper app if animation keeps stopping

I slightly disagree with hunting Telegram packs first. Cool source, sure, but compression there can be rough too.

If you use ** into the mix as your organizer/editor setup, pros are cleaner sorting and easier testing. Cons are extra storage use and one more app layer that can glitch.

Big thing: if your phone is iPhone, the answer changes completely, because “live wallpaper” support is way more limited now. Android model matters a lot here.
